EVERMOVES REMOVALS AND WASTE CLEARANCE LIMITED is committed to carrying out all its obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act and subsequent Regulations. We also accept our responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by our activities.

We will ensure adequate resources are made available to take all reasonable steps to meet these requirements, paying particular attention to the provision of:

Ensuring that plant and equipment owned or hired is safe to use, properly maintained, inspected, tested and used to safe systems of work.

Ensuring that there are effective control of health and safety risks arising from work activities in co-operation with other contractors, clients, designers and principal designers.

Arrangements for the use of, handling, storage, transportation and control of articles and substances hazardous to health,

Provision of information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all employees to avoid hazards and contribute positively to their own and other people’s safety and health at work,

Effective fire prevention and fire control procedures

Ensuring a safe means of access and exit wherever work takes place,

Providing adequate welfare and first aid facilities,

We seek full co-operation and support from employees to support management’s efforts to maintain health and safety standards. Any health and safety concerns by employees can be communicated to me at any time.

Competent people will be appointed to assist us in meeting our statutory duties including, where appropriate, specialists from outside the organisation.

The policy will be developed and kept up to date in line with new health and safety legislation and guidance, particularly as the business changes in nature and size. To ensure this, the policy and the way in which it has operated will be reviewed every year.
